The minister is here to help our
members and supporters. Among other things, he provides counselling
in difficult life situations or marriage counselling. He will also
arrange a Child Welcoming, engagement ceremony, wedding ceremony,
burrials, memorials, and other ceremonies. |
Due to the fact that the Wider Fellowship
is not restricted to a concrete location, the minister can meet you in the
place of your residence, if you prefer a personal contact.
 Since
November 2008, Dr. Petr Samojský has served as the minister of the Wider
Fellowship. Petr is also the
Prague Unitarian
Congregation minister and the Czech Senior Unitarian minister. Petr
received his Master degree at
Meadville Lombard
Theological School, Chicago,
and his Doctoral degree at
Chicago Theological
Seminary, in a project focused
on using therapy by expressive art in ministerial work.
Petr is married and lives with his family near the city of Prague, Czech
Republic. His hobbies are books, poetry, music — he plays the guitar and
the Indian sitar. He joined the Unitarians in 1985 after being inspired
by his spiritual teacher. For him being a Unitarian means love of
freedom while stressing the harmony of conscience, reason, and feelings. |
